Mertz Manufacturing, LLC Names Roy Heath Engineering Manager

Fort Mill, SC – Mertz Manufacturing, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Compact Power, Inc., is proud to announce the appointment of Roy Heath to the role of Engineering Manager.  Roy has an extensive background in engineering management primarily in the automotive industry.  He comes to Mertz Manufacturing from Delphi in Saginaw, MI where he served as Staff Project Engineering Manager and has previous engineering experience with Bibb Corporation in Atlanta, GA and TRW/Koyo in Knoxville, TN.  In his new role, Roy will be responsible for overseeing Mertz’s engineering department which is responsible for the design of a variety of equipment including compact utility loaders and mini excavators, oil and gas industry equipment, servo-hydraulic petroleum exploration vehicles, fire fighting apparatus, agricultural vehicles, and precision parts for large mining and construction equipment.
