Compact Power® Introduces Boxer 106
Compact Power® Introduces Boxer 106Fort Mill, SC - Compact Power®, Inc. adds the first motorized wheelbarrow, to their Boxer Specialty Equipment Series. The new Boxer 106 Power Barrow, four-wheel drive wheelbarrow, is designed to move materials quickly and safely across terrains less navigatable for traditional wheel barrows and competing products. The 106 is ideal for the construction, landscaping, utility, rental and homeowner markets, as well as a wide range of other industries and applications. Its popularity has soared amongst homeowners and residential contractors attempting to simplify a job, through labor and time saving equipment.

The Boxer 106 Power Barrow is powered by a Honda GXV160, 5.5 HP gasoline engine, with four forward speeds and one reverse speed. The Boxer 106 can travel to 3.5 mph (5.6kpm), allowing the user to move material two to three times faster, and with much less effort, than a traditional wheelbarrow.

The Boxer 106 transports up to 850 lbs (387kg) in a single load, the equivalent of three times the normal wheelbarrow load. Due to its 10 foot cubic bucket the Boxer 106 can manage bulky loads such as broken concrete or demolition material.

The unique drive system of the Boxer 106 consists of two ten-inch front drive wheels and two eight-inch rear wheels. A centrally positioned four-inch wheel transfers the drive from the front wheels to the rear wheels creating the four-wheel drive system. The four-wheel drive system allows the Boxer 106 Barrow to carry loads over rough terrain and to climb a 30 degree incline when fully loaded. Its stable center of gravity, 36 inch (914 mm) width, 73 inch (1854 mm) length and 38 inch (965 mm) height, help to maintain a balanced weight distribution, allowing for easy load dumping and maneuverability. The Boxer 106 comes standard with lugged tires. Turf tires are available for use on delicate ground, such as golf course greens.

The Boxer 106 is designed with heavy gauge steel, a powder coated finish and a fully sealed transmission to protect it from the elements and jobsite wear. The 106 is simple to use and can be easily maintained. The drive belt is changeable within minutes and uses a standard belt, readily obtainable from most parts departments. The brake and engine adjustments are easily accessible, reducing repair time on-site.

Compact Power®, Inc., a world leader in the compact hydraulic power equipment market, specializes in products that range up to 50 hp (37.28 kW) and 5,000 lbs. (2272.7 kg).
