Compact Power Announces Acquisition of DOC Machine Tool Services
FT. MILL, SC, FEBRUARY 5, 2007 - Compact Power, Inc. (""CPI") and its subsidiary companies have announced the acquisition of certain assets of DOC Machine Tool Services of South Carolina, Inc., a South Carolina-based full-service maintenance corporation ("DOC"). Roger Braswell, Compact Power CEO, stated "the acquisition of the DOC business will better allow CPI to meet the technical and service support needs of our growing customer base, including DOC's customers."

For every penny the euro increases against the dollar, United Technologies Corp. records an additional $10 million in earnings. A diversified manufacturing behemoth that earns more than 60 percent of its revenues outside the United States, UTC received an earning boost of about $100 million last year as the dollar slid against the euro - and slid, and slid a little more. Despite its far-flung revenue steams, the company has never done any financial hedging, say vice president of accounting and finance Greg Hayes.

Boxer TD-327
Compact Power's® Boxer TD-327 was unique among the seven machines at the Minis-Skid Workdays in that it was equipped with an adjustable-gauge track system. A control lever on the dash allows the operator to vary the width across the tracks from 34.5 to 43.5 inches. According to Compact Power®, the adjustable-gauge feature allows the Boxer to maneuver through narrow areas, such as gates and paths, yet allows a wide stance for operating stability.

Compact Power Inc. Completes $21 Million Institutional Financing
FT. MILL, SC, JULY 19, 2007 - Compact Power, Inc. (“CPI”) and its subsidiary companies are pleased to announce the completion of a $21 million equity and subordinated debt financing, focused on maintaining the rapid growth of the company.  The financing was obtained from Latigo Partners, a New York based investment fund, and Peachtree Equity Partners, an Atlanta based private equity firm.  St. Cloud Capital in Los Angeles and an investment fund managed by Sanders Morris Harris in Houston also remain as continuing institutional investors, along with significant management ownership.

Mertz Manufacturing, LLC Names Roy Heath Engineering Manager
Fort Mill, SC – Mertz Manufacturing, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Compact Power, Inc., is proud to announce the appointment of Roy Heath to the role of Engineering Manager.  Roy has an extensive background in engineering management primarily in the automotive industry.  He comes to Mertz Manufacturing from Delphi in Saginaw, MI where he served as Staff Project Engineering Manager and has previous engineering experience with Bibb Corporation in Atlanta, GA and TRW/Koyo in Knoxville, TN.  In his new role, Roy will be responsible for overseeing Mertz’s engineering department which is responsible for the design of a variety of equipment including compact utility loaders and mini excavators, oil and gas industry equipment, servo-hydraulic petroleum exploration vehicles, fire fighting apparatus, agricultural vehicles, and precision parts for large mining and construction equipment.
